The SSUF Female Founder Network initiative aims to build a strong ecosystem for female entrepreneurs in Switzerland.
We connect female founders with each other, open doors to personal mentors and angel investors, and provide ongoing support through our strong and unique network.
Our members commit to providing the tools and resources needed to create a strong environment for aspiring female founders.
Women are founding innovative startups more than ever before, yet only 5% of investor’s money goes to startups founded by women. We want to help women pitch their startups successfully, and get their startups funded.
Investors say that they want to fund more female founders; Female founder want to pitch more investors. We want to help connect the dots and through our network by introducing female founders to high-level investors.
We are actively engaged in finding out exactly where the barriers of entry are for female founders. We are doing so by establishing a panel, which consists of entrepreneurs, experts, and investors who are passionate about this topic. Our aim is to use our findings to increase the number of female founders in the SSUF Accelerator Program by 50% by the end of 2017. Stay tuned for updates!
