SSUF Allumni, Beaconsmind kickstart a whole new shopping experience for Bollag-Guggenheim customers.

Not more than 2 months after graduating from class W16 of SSUF, IoT Startup Beaconsmind is starting to fly high. Yesterday (23.06) the first Switzerland-wide retail beacon experience went live powered by Beaconsmind. The major partner for Beaconsmind during this big endeavour is Bullag-Guggenhei; a retail fashion group that in Switzerland counts with 23 multi-branded stores. in their portfolio are brandes such as GUESS, Marc O’Polo and more.
As Bollag-Guggenheim CEO, Mr. Peder Casanova, clearly points out “With the digital process that our company undergoes we want to quickly respond to the digital transformation that is in place within the retail industry. And we succeeded”. Together with Beaconsmind, the retail company now has all its 23 stores equipped with iBeacons. It has also – based on the data obtained through the iBeacons – developed a Gallery app and send push notifications based on inside-store location.
Combined with the Beaconsmind Suite the devices in-store are able to process real-time data in order to make it actionable for retailers, who can then design better shopping experiences that increase customer loyalty. More information about Beaconsmind can be found on their website
