Innovation, Startup, Switzerland, Nonstop entrepreneurship, challenges, teamwork, pitching and a lot of energy drinks.
We could be talking about the days at Swiss Startup Factory – where startups work day and night hustling and battling to grow and achieve every new milestone. But we are in fact talking about the unprecedented StartupBus Europe which for the first time has a fully Swiss edition.
The Swiss StartupBus powered by Swiss Startup Factory is Equal parts hackathon, road trip and global community, StartupBus is an annual competition designed to empower the tech community. The challenge starts in Zürich on the 2nd of September and has its final day at the Pirate Festival in Cologne – Germany on the 7th of September. During this time – top tier talents are challenged  to hop on a bus and conceive, build and launch a startup in 72 hours.
“When the heads of the Swiss StartupBus (or Conductors – as they prefer to be called) approached Swiss Startup Factory we knew this was something we wanted to be part of” said Mike Baur, CEO of the Swiss Startup Factory. The synergies between the Startup Bus project and the values of Startup Factory are very strong and when Swiss Startup Factory saw the chance of pushing forward another young initiative for entrepreneurs in Switzerland, we immediately jumped on board. “It is already a big success and we are sure that at the end of the first batch we will have changed the life of those young entrepreneurs for good” completed Baur.
At the moment, applications for the Swiss StartupBus are open and more information can be found at StartupBus’ website.
