Zurich, 28.03.2017. As part of the strategic development of the Swiss Startup Factory, SSUF and ETH Entrepreneur Club decided to deepen their partnership to further develop the strong dialogue and teaming up with the best students from ETH Zurich who want to become entrepreneurs in Switzerland.

The Swiss Startup Factory (SSUF) and the Entrepreneur Club (EC) have already had a great relationship over the last two years and among others organized several events and projects together. In addition, former and current ETH students completed the accelerator program of the SSUF. With our alumni startup Blinkers working at our corporate partner Zühlke and just launching their Indiegogo campaign and IDUN Health Tech being one of the very promising startups in our current accelerator batch W17, ETH students showed their ability to become great entrepreneurs.

By becoming a premium partner of the Entrepreneur Club, the goal of SSUF is to bring more talents from the ETH from innovation to execution. The SSUF will support a selected series of ETH EC events and provide the full SSUF Startup knowledge to the students with dedicated input sessions taking place at ETH. In addition, the winners of the EC Award have the chance to join our accelerator program and get access to the business expertise and network they need to reach their full potential.

Max Meister, co-founder and Head Accelerator of the Swiss Startup Factory, comments: “One of our missions is to inspire the best talents in Switzerland to start their entrepreneurial journey. With our knowledge and spirit we are the perfect partner to make this happen. We are very much looking forward to a great partnership and are excited to see which interesting projects will make it to our accelerator program in the coming batches.”

Gregory Inauen, President of the ETH Entrepreneur Club, comments: “We see a huge potential in combining bright talents and new technologies from ETH with the outstanding spirit and business experience from the Swiss Startup Factory. Together we want to strengthen this partnership to enable more young entrepreneurs to successfully set up, organise and develop their own startup.”
